Best 4 Slice Toaster Oven – Panasonic NB-G110P Flash Xpress

Best 4 Slice Toaster Oven

Busy all day and tired after work? Feel like going for the takeaway instead of spending another hour in the kitchen cooking dinner? That’s how I feel sometimes after 9 hours in the office, but the Panasonic Flash Xpress toaster oven comes to the rescue. This is the best 4 slice toaster oven, and the best thing is that it can cook and heat up meals noticeably faster than most toaster ovens.

What do you think about a quick meal that you can cook in less than 30 minutes with preparations less than 5 minutes? I think it’s great and that’s what the Flash Express lets me do after a tired day.

Best 4 Slice Toaster Oven

At 13.5 x 14.5 x 13.5 inches, the roomy interior of this toaster oven enables you to comfortably fit in 4 slices of bread or a 9-inch pizza. I don’t know why toaster ovens must be related to bread or pizza but I for one am not a carb person. This toaster oven can bake a decent cheese-topped dory fish or grill a large chicken whole leg at one time. Now that’s what I call a good meal. Of course, you can also toast bread, cook or reheat frozen pizza, rolls, bake potatoes and the list goes on.

The Flash Xpress Toaster Oven comes in a sleek stainless steel body. If you’re interested in technology, this toaster oven has double infrared heating and uses quartz and ceramic heating elements. This is said to be the main reason why this toaster oven cooks more quickly and evenly. I have no idea how or why but it’s true that this toaster oven does cook quickly and the food always turn out nicely cooked all through.

The built-in interior light lets you check up on the condition of your food while its cooking. The see-through oven door connects together with the baking rack to ensure your safety and provide easy access to the food. It will pull out towards you when you open the oven door and withdraw when you shut it back. That’s a simple feature that I always appreciate when I need to check the food in the middle of cooking.

Cleanup is easy with the nonstick interior of the toaster oven and the crumb tray can always be removed and washed.

Unlike the previous toaster ovens I had used, the Flash Xpress Toaster Oven has a control panel that is placed below the drop-down oven door instead of the usual right hand side position of a toaster oven. This is probably the only thing that I don’t like about this toaster oven because I have to bend lower to set it. I have to admit it does make the toaster oven more compact though.

There are 6 simple and illustrated cooking mode buttons: toast, waffle, roll, pizza, quick, and hash brown. It also has convenient preset modes for frozen foods and quick reheat. This intelligent toaster oven takes control of everything and automatically calculate the cooking time and temperature for your food once you have chosen any of the cooking functions. You also get to manually regulate the temperature by pressing the arrow buttons on the control panel. Its digital timer will beep once your food is done cooking.

The Panasonic Flash Xpress may not be for everyone though. If you cook a large amount of food this toaster oven is not a good choice. On the other hand, if you are looking for the best 4 slice toaster oven to cook for two persons, or reheat leftovers and frozen pastries, the Flash Xpress wouldn’t take up much space in your kitchen and works great.
